What collectors are sayng
I have known Harak Rubio for nearly 30 years, and it has been a joy to watch his work evolve and deepen over time. Harak is a Puerto Rican artist with a rare gift: his abstracts carry real light, while also projecting strength, movement, and intention. There is an unmistakable dynamism in his pieces, as if the energy is still traveling through the canvas or the material long after the work is finished. My wife and I are especially drawn to the way Harak balances restraint and boldness. He pairs minimal geometric forms with confident color and brushwork that feels both decisive and alive. That contrast, clean structure against expressive force, is what makes his art so compelling to live with. It anchors a room, but it also keeps it breathing. We recently acquired two of his wall sculptures, and they have quickly become some of the most striking elements in our home. For us, they evoke yin and yang, but with added curves and shapes that are genuinely sensual. It is not easy to make metal feel almost sexy, and Harak does it in a way that belies the effort, discipline, and physical work that shaping metal demands. The result is elegant, modern, and deeply human.Harak’s art brings beauty into our daily life, not as decoration, but as presence. It lifts the space, changes the mood, and reminds us that strength and softness can exist together in the same form. We feel lucky to live with his work, and even luckier to call him a friend.Esteban Sagel

Since 2013, we have represented the artist Harak Rubio at our art gallery in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. Harak's artistic creations are unique, characterized by clean lines and compositions that allow one to perceive movement in each piece. Always vibrant with color, his fluid and defined strokes on paper come to life in sculpture, something that has captivated our customers and our gallery. He is also extremely professional and perfectionist artist, whose work is flawless down to the last detail.
His pieces allow you to give a touch of freshness, modernity, movement, strength, subtlety and color to the interior and exterior spaces.
